It's a "NO" on Billy  |  JANUARY 10, 2008

I got a reply from the talent agency – they're not interested. But I found their critique pretty helpful, with five separate categories: Character, Dialogue, Plot, Visual Excitement, and Writing Quality. Each has a set of questions, with the screenplay being graded as GOOD, BAD, or FAIR.

For example, on Dialogue it was graded GOOD for, "Did it amplify the relationships?"; BAD for, "Did it contribute to the rhythm and pace?"; and FAIR for, "Was it effectively threaded into the story?"

On the whole, BILLY THE HAM ACTOR scored 20 GOOD, 5 FAIR, and 11
BAD out of 36 total assessments. At the top of the page, three checkboxes announced their decision:

xxlllllxXXXXXXXXXXXXXX¨ YES
xxlllllxXXXXXXXXXXXXXXþ NO
xxlllllxXXXXXXXXXXXXXX¨ MAYBE WITH REWRITE

Oh well, there's always the next one.
